My journey as a creative has been - in a word, a rollercoaster. Maybe one day I’ll write a whole book about it, but I know that’s not why you're here. You're here because you like these two subjects just as much as I do, and like me, you can’t get enough! After I lost my passion and drive for running a product-based business, I realized all I wanted to do was get back to basics. Get back to the source and create a space for myself and others to connect and enjoy.

My love of folklore started with my great-grandfather. He was Romanian, and our family lore was something that captivated me. Folklore was already ingrained in my blood, and my fascination only grew with each new story he told. My family comes from Transylvania, and for a while, it was even a running joke between us that our family had vampire blood. My grandfather was a large influence on me, and I feel fortunate to have had him in my life for 18 years. Creating this blog and exploring folklore, in a way, feels like I’m helping to carry along his legacy.

As for horror, due to some really strange circumstances, I didn’t get to cultivate my love for horror until much later in life. It’s even weirder to say that it was three years of therapy that helped me embrace it fully. But now, it seems that there is no going back! So I’m happy you're here to explore all I can of these two genres - through books, games, writing, and even art. Of course, it helps that they fit together like a nice PB&J.
